I heard that Denmark has a modified version of their current design of
all the denominations since 2002, and I still have some leftover
currency from the older, non-modified version. Is that older version
still legal tender or do I have to exchange it at a bank? |

Exactly how old is it? There was no change of currency in 2002.
If your notes are on this list:
http://www.nationalbanken.dk/DNDK/money.nsf/side/Danmarks_seddelserie!OpenDocument
they're still valid. They were introduced 1997-99.
If they're on this:
http://www.nationalbanken.dk/DNDK/money.nsf/side/OEvrige_sedler!OpenDocument
you can exchange them at the national bank.
All other (i.e. pre-1945) notes are invalid. |
