Should i be worried about road conditions if i'm driving from edmonton
to calgary the first week of december.

If you have good winter tires and are an experienced winter driver, then
no, it shouldn't be bad, although I would allow for double the summer
driving time or more if there is a blizzard.
That stretch of highway is always busy and as a result is reasonably
well maintained and gets frequent snow removal when needed, but anything
can happen.
It's also a $49+tax flight (each direction) on Westjet, so if you aren't
comfortable with the drive, hop a flight and be done with it. |
