Hi all, I'm making a highway encyclopedia for the North American
continent. It will be on the internet only. The format will be divided
into numbers. I will discuss numbering conventions, i.e. New Brunswick
has three systems 1. primary 2. secondary 3. local. If you have any
suggestions, email me at creedonmeister@gmail.com

It's been done. It's called Wikipedia. :-)

I would welcome a system with less administrative BS. I would also
welcome one more comprehensive, because right now it's annoying to see
actual current routes not listed (Colorado is one place I noticed) as
well as a lot of routes without entries while tiny nothing routes have
long entries.

So, roll up your sleeves, go in there, and create those articles. That's
what Wikipedia is all about.

Make sure to add significant content; many Ohio route page "stubs"
were deleted because they didn't have it.

Again, far too much administrative BS is why I avoid Wikipedia
contribution as much as possible. In terms of adding content, I
wouldn't be looking for it if I already knew it, would I?

I was speaking generally to everyone reading, including those who
don't object to contributing. In your specific case, I inferred that
you'd already know about the roadgeek websites or official DOT logs,
most of which are the sources for Wikipedia anyway.

+1, I agree then the roadgeeks could desserve their own "road-wikia"
how about "highwaywikia" or "roadwikia"?

Btw, do you plan to host it on Wikia? http://www.wikia.com/wiki/Wikia
